Google Places Tags and Local Results

This is a short blog entry to announce that Google Places has recently announced "Google Places Tags."  This is a subscription based program to help businesses add more information and help their listings stand out in the Local Results field on their search results page.  The cost is $25 per month.  Google says that it will not help get your business ranking on the Local Results.  However, Semiam Solutions believes that "Tags" could help a business if it is done smartly.  I have written an extensive review and recommendation on Google Places Tags.  I have also included a short video that explains Google Places.
