Google Boost is Google's newest online advertising venture. First, it is available only in a limited amount of cities across the country. Initially, a limited amount of business categories and cities are available in the Google Boost program. As time goes on, more and more cities and categories will be opened up.
What is Google Boost? Think of it as combing your Google Places account and your Google Adwords account into one product. The idea is to focus on local result searches.
My initial opinion on Google Boost is a wait and see approach. The reason is that more control is turned over to Google. Control over your marketing budget, control over keywords, control and limitation of content. Adwords gives you greater flexibility over all of the aforementioned items.
